CS Guide

The goal of the CS Guide is to have all of the information that would be helpful to Auxiliary CS Officers, webmasters and internet users available in a easy to use format in one location. We recognize the Guide still has a way to go to achieve this goal. In this assignment we want you to help evaluate the Guide and identify changes that are needed to help the Guide achieve this Goal.

In your review of the Guide and recommendations you need to keep the Goal for the Guide and following points in mind:

  •  The Guide must be a “living” document that can grow with the needs of the Auxiliary CS program.

  •  It must meet the needs of our diverse, decentralized volunteer organization supporting the full spectrum of our membership.

  •  Your recommendations need to be specific and identify the URL or Section number of a particular page to help locate areas you refer to.

After taking a close look at the Guide and its contents provide your recommendations as answers to the following questions:

  1. What changes in the Guides current structure and organization would improve its usefulness?

  2. What information should be added to the Guide, and where should it be located?

  3. What CS Policy and Guidelines do you feel need to be revised and why?

  4. Any other suggestions for improvement of the Guide would be welcome.
